What allowance percentage should I use?

This calculator deliberately provides no default. Use a value approved from your trial data, operating records, material specification, supplier evidence and inventory policy.

Why can the material requirement exceed saleable bottles?

The scenario can include only the optional allowances you enter and rounding to complete secondary packs or pallets. The result displays those assumptions separately.

Does the result reserve or purchase materials?

No. It is a client-side planning scenario. Purchasing and warehouse teams must confirm specification, stock, order quantity, lead time and approval.
